Tetsu, yang sudah berumur 38 tahun, pemimpin dan bassist band rock Jepang L'Arc~En~Ciel, akan menikah dengan idola dan aktris berumur 22 tahun Ayana Sakai, itu diketahui pada hari Sabtu.

Aku hari ini mengunjungi forum yang disediakan oleh global tv. sisnya tentu saja membahas mengenai laruku. Ada hal yang menarik untuk aku tampilkan dalam blog ini, kata moderatornya begini :

"Yukihiro san officially jadi member L'Arc~en~Ciel pada 1 Januari 1998. Namun, sejak live Reincarnation 23 Dec 1997, kita sudah menganggap bahwa yukihiro san sudah menjadi bagian dari laruku.

Album Baru L'Arc en Ciel Rilis 26 November

Jakarta, Sempat cuti dan sibuk bersolo karir band Jepang, L'Arc en Ciel sepertinya mantap untuk terus bersama. Album terbaru mereka pun akan dirilis di Indonesia, 26 November mendatang.

Artist of The Month MTV Japan

Menurutmu siapakah artist of the month bulan November ini di MTV Japan? Kalau jawabanmu Laruku, berarti kamu benar. Artist of the month bulan November 2007 memang L’Arc~en~Ciel. Tanggal 14 November nanti mereka akan mengeluarkan single baru mereka yang diberi title “Hurry Xmas”. Tentu saja lagu ini akan secara sah sampai tanggal 25 Desember periode produksi terbatas (untuk merayakan hari Natal). 21 November nanti mereka akan merilis album KISS. Mereka membutuhkan waktu selama dua tahun lima bulan untuk merilis album KISS. Dan pada tanggal 5 desember nanti kumpulan Musik Klip CHRONICLE 3 dalam bentuk DVD akan dirilis.

Yukihiro

Yukihiro Awaji (淡路 幸宏, Awaji Yukihiro?), known professionaly as yukihiro, is the drummer and remixer of the Japanese rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel as well as the leader of Acid Android. His nickname is "Yukky"(or "Yukkie") as well as "teacher".

He joined L'Arc~en~Ciel in 1998, taking over the former drummer, Sakura. yukihiro is very skinny (it has been reported his weight is only 48 kg) . He composed a few songs for L'Arc~en~Ciel, including "trick", "cradle", "Revelation" and "New World". He is also known for his remixing works of the band, and released the remix album, "ectomorphed works" in 2000. He had been a member of some other Japanese rock bands, including Die in Cries and Zi:Kill.

Ken

Ken Kitamura (北村 健, Kitamura Ken?), known professionaly as ken, was born in Shiga, Japan on November 28, 1968. He is the guitarist of L'Arc~en~Ciel, a Japanese rock band. He is also the leader/guitarist/vocalist of his own band Sons Of All Pussys or S.O.A.P and solo album Speed.

Tetsu

Tetsuya Ogawa (born October 3, 1969, in Osaka, Japan), known professionally as tetsu, is the leader and bassist of the Japanese rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel. He also does backup vocals and has written some of the band's songs, including 'Link', 'READY STEADY GO', 'finale', 'Driver's High' and 'Pieces'. In the band, his name is 'tetsu' (All in lower case).

Hyde

HYDE adalah vokalis grup musik Jepang, L'Arc~en~Ciel. Penulisan namanya sebagai solo artis adalah HYDE (semua huruf kapital), dan hyde (semua huruf kecil) jika mengatasnamakan sebagai vokalis L'Arc~en~Ciel.

Asal Usul L'Arc-en-Ciel

L'Arc-en-Ciel, (dibaca Laruku), atau dalam bahasa Inggris "rainbow" artinya pelangi, adalah sebuah band rock jepang (J-Rock) yang sangat terkenal. Dibentuk oleh Tetsu pada Februari 1991. Grup ini telah menjual lebih dari 15 juta album, 30 juta single, dan jutaan unit lainnya, seperti video, dan telah dipilih diposisi 58 di HMV Japan sebagai "Top 100 Japanese Pop Artists" sepanjang masa.

L'Arc-en-Ciel beranggotakan Tetsuya Ogawa (bas), Hideto Takarai/Hyde (vokal), Ken Kitamura (gitar), Yukihiro Awaji (drum). Mantan personel yang sempat memperkuat band ini:

• Sakura (drum 1992-1997) digantikan oleh Yukihiro karena keterlibatan narkoba


• Hiro (gitar 1991-1992)


• Pero (drum 1991-1992)

Nama L'Arc~en~Ciel berasal dari sebuah kata dalam bahasa Perancis yang berarti "Lengkungan di Langit" atau "Pelangi", nama ini diambil dari judul sebuah film Perancis yang pernah ditonton oleh Tetsu.
